The Extended Vehicle API allows you to get latest information of the vehicle status remotely. Information such as odometer, fuel level, windows and doors status, oil level, light status and much more of any connected Volvo vehicles.

This API is an implementation of ISO 20078-1 and is therefore limited in data and features. To unlock more functionality visit Connected Vehicle API.

Availability

Car models

This API is available for:

• All car models between model year 2015 and 2021, except for model XC40 fully electric.
• All car models with model year 2022, except for XC60, S90, V90, V90CC, XC40, and C40 fully electric.

Locations

The API can be used with test credentials around the world. However, when published, only cars in the Europe / Middle East / Africa regions are available. We are working to bring other regions online.
