Connected Vehicle API, Energy API, Location API and Extended Vehicle API Specific Agreement

1. Connected Vehicle API, Energy API, Location API and Extended Vehicle API

1.1. This agreement is concluded between you and Volvo Cars and shall apply for the use of Volvo Cars’ Connected Vehicle API, Energy API, Location API and/or Extended Vehicle API (hereinafter "API Agreement").

1.2. This API Agreement incorporates the Terms and Conditions of the Volvo Cars Developer Portal. The terms of this API Agreement supersede portions of the Volvo Cars Portal Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).

1.3. Connected Vehicle API means the API called Connected Vehicle API and related materials provided by Volvo Cars to you on the Portal (as defined in the Terms and Conditions).

1.4. Energy API means the API called Energy API, and related materials provided by Volvo Cars to you on the Portal (as defined in the Terms and Conditions).

1.5. Location API means the API called Location API, and related materials provided by Volvo Cars to you on the Portal (as defined in the Terms and Conditions).

1.6. Extended Vehicle API means the API called Extended Vehicle API and related materials provided by Volvo Cars to you on the Portal (as defined in the Terms and Conditions).

1.7. The purpose of the Connected Vehicle API, Energy API, Location API and Extended Vehicle API is to allow you to create applications that make use of either the Connected Vehicle API, Energy API, Location API and/or Extended Vehicle API and the data accessible through such APIs to allow you to offer your products and services to end-customers of Volvo Cars’ products and services (“Purpose”).

1.8. Volvo Cars may make changes to this API Agreement. The changes become effective when posted to the Portal.

2. License

2.1. Subject to and conditioned on your compliance with the Terms and Conditions, Volvo Cars hereby grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Connected Vehicle API, Energy API, Location API and Extended Vehicle API within the Purpose.

2.2. Volvo Cars owns all right, title and interest in the Connected Vehicle API, Energy API, Location API and Extended Vehicle API. Volvo Cars reserves all rights not expressly granted to you in this API Agreement. Except for the limited rights and licenses expressly granted under this API Agreement, nothing in this API Agreement grants, by implication, waiver, estoppel, or otherwise, to you any intellectual property rights or other right, title, or interest in or to the Connected Vehicle API, Energy API, Location API and/or Extended Vehicle API.

3. License Fee

The use of the Connected Vehicle API, Energy API, Location API and/or Extended Vehicle API is offered free of charge. Volvo Cars expressly reserves the right to offer the Connected Vehicle API, Energy API, Location API and/or Extended Vehicle API for a fee at a later stage.

4. Limitations

The request limit for each of the Connected Vehicle API, Energy API, Location API and Extended Vehicle API are 10,000 calls per day. A higher request limit may be granted by Volvo Cars on an individual basis.
